This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Establish the project scope, timelines, milestones, resource assignments, and risk management strategies for hardware and software initiatives, encompassing robot feature enhancements, ongoing upgrade projects, and new product launches.
• Direct and synchronize activities among hardware and software engineering teams, product managers, operations personnel, and business stakeholders.
• Collect requirements, harmonize priorities, and relay updates on project status.
• Formulate and execute processes that optimize workflows and enhance efficiency.
• Assist teams in organizing and executing sprints to prioritize and monitor tasks.
• Evaluate and refine existing processes while pinpointing opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
• Facilitate comprehensive communication efforts to ensure all teams remain informed and aligned.
• Produce technical specifications, roadmaps, project plans, and status reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a comparable engineering field.
• 3–5 years of experience in engineering program management or technical program management.
• 3–5 years of experience in hardware, systems, or autonomous systems development processes.
• Proven ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong history of managing complex cross-functional projects and successfully delivering product features in a production setting.
• Experience in cultivating effective working relationships with senior leaders and engineers across various functions and departments.
• Capability to maintain a broad perspective while providing clear, well-structured, and concise communications tailored to the audience.
• Background in robotics and autonomous systems, particularly those functioning in public environments (notable qualification).
• Experience with products that involve policy or regulatory considerations (notable qualification).
