Senior Technical Program Manager, Deep Learning Initiatives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee AI projects that encompass research, software, hardware, infrastructure, product development, quality assurance, security, legal matters, operations, marketing, and developer relations.

• Create strategic roadmaps, outline achievements, establish ownership models, develop governance plans, track risks, and define success metrics.

• Collaborate with technical teams to synchronize model development, training, inference, evaluation, GPU capacity management, and production deployment.

• Assist in architectural and integration decisions while addressing inter-team dependencies.

• Provide transparent updates to leadership regarding progress, trade-offs, risks, and strategic recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in technical program management, engineering program management, software development, or a related field.

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a similar technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Proven experience in leading strategic initiatives across various business units, engineering teams, geographical locations, or corporate functions.

• Strong comprehension of the AI development lifecycle, covering model development, training, evaluation, inference, deployment, and ongoing support.

• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks, GPU-accelerated computing, distributed systems, contemporary software development methodologies, agile practices, CI/CD, and tools such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Aha!, or Confluence.

• Experience in spearheading AI platform, infrastructure, developer ecosystem, or product integration projects that involve multiple teams.

• Familiarity with foundation models, generative AI, multimodal models, agentic systems, or open-source AI communities.

• Understanding of GPU architecture, distributed training, high-performance computing, Kubernetes, workload schedulers, cloud infrastructure, or data center infrastructure.
