This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Take charge of the planning and implementation for NVIDIA's GPU-accelerated data science and data processing libraries.
• Develop comprehensive roadmaps that strike a balance between long-term objectives, immediate priorities, and engineering capabilities.
• Establish program scope, key milestones, success indicators, and execution strategies.
• Facilitate cross-functional efforts among engineering, product, marketing, go-to-market teams, and the open-source community.
• Oversee dependencies, align key stakeholders, monitor software readiness, mitigate risks, and ensure consistent, high-quality releases.
• Lead initiatives related to software releases, security, and compliance.
• Enhance development processes, tooling, and delivery methodologies.
• Create and maintain program metrics that assess release health, quality, delivery performance, adoption, and overall program effectiveness.
• Utilize data to inform decisions and foster continuous improvement.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in technical program management, leading intricate software projects in data science, data processing, accelerated computing, high-dimensional search, self-directed AI, or similar fields.
• Prior experience as an engineer, data scientist, or a highly technical program leader.
• In-depth knowledge of open-source software development, the PyData ecosystem, GitHub, and GitHub-centric engineering workflows.
• Capability to manage multiple business-critical programs concurrently.
• Skill in influencing stakeholders across organizations without direct authority.
• Proficiency in effectively communicating with both technical and executive audiences.
• Track record of consistently delivering high-quality software in dynamic environments.
• Demonstrated self-direction and adaptable leadership.
• Practical experience with Python, C++, data science, or GPU-accelerated computing.
• Familiarity with vector search, agentic workflows, semantic search, text-to-SQL, intelligent query execution, or workload routing.
• Proven experience in enhancing engineering processes, delivery systems, and program metrics.
