This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +8 more states.
β’ Oversee the complete delivery process of SRE initiatives, encompassing incident management, release management, observability, automation, and capacity planning to ensure system reliability and performance.
β’ Collaborate with teams of software engineers, SREs, DevOps personnel, and stakeholders to prioritize tasks, address obstacles, and monitor technical deliverables, timelines, and dependencies.
β’ Create status updates, dashboards, and reports that showcase program status, milestones, challenges, and results for stakeholders and leadership.
β’ Work alongside Incident Commanders to facilitate post-incident reviews, assist in root cause analysis, and monitor preventive actions to reduce downtime and enhance system resilience.
β’ Convey program status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders, translating technical information into business implications.
β’ 8+ years of professional experience in the High-Tech Industry, including 5+ years in technical program management or site reliability engineering (SRE) supporting SRE platforms and infrastructure for SaaS products and services.
β’ Proven experience managing technically intricate programs with over 25 team members, demonstrating the ability to meet deadlines.
β’ Proficient in presenting program plans and updates to leadership and stakeholders.
β’ Knowledgeable in SRE principles, including observability, incident response, and infrastructure automation.
β’ Familiarity with distributed systems, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
β’ Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
β’ Skilled in building dashboards and employing a data-driven approach to projects.
β’ Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project) and agile/scrum methodologies.
β’ Capable of managing competing priorities effectively.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent experience.
