This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of large-scale, critical, and intricate financial applications, taking ownership of all solution aspects from end to end through comprehensive software development.
• Collaborate closely with engineering leads, product managers, designers, and other teams to establish program scope, requirements, and deliverables.
• Propel Data Governance and Data Privacy initiatives forward.
• Create clear and consistent communication channels. Offer regular updates on program status, progress, and obstacles to all stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Proactively identify and manage dependencies across teams, ensuring seamless integration and coordination.
• Recognize, evaluate, and mitigate risks throughout the program lifecycle. Formulate contingency plans and escalate issues as necessary.
• Continuously assess and enhance program and portfolio management processes, utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) to foster ongoing improvement, automation initiatives, and efficiencies.
• Guide junior program managers or contribute to the establishment of best practices within the program management domain.
• 8+ years of experience in technical program management, project management, or a related role within a software development context.
• Proven hands-on experience integrating AI into daily operations to enhance efficiency and improve technical processes.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with Data Governance and Data Privacy projects, such as implementing Data Retention policies and/or managing Data Subject Request programs.
• Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies (Kanban), and modern software architectures (e.g., microservices, cloud-native applications).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for navigating intricate technical challenges, a results-driven mindset, and a dedication to delivering value to customers.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA), collaboration platforms (e.g., Confluence), and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Certifications in program management and/or service management (e.g., PMP, PgMP, CSM, SAFe, ITIL).
