This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Overseeing a diverse range of large-scale project portfolios encompassing both technical and non-technical domains, from initial concept to deployment.

• Collaborating effectively with senior leadership, IT teams, business partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery of portfolios on schedule, within scope, and on budget.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in healthcare management, information technology, business management, or equivalent years of experience (2 years of experience equates to 1 year of college).

• Preferred: Master's degree.

• Preferred: Project Management certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or other professional development organizations.

• Minimum: Proficiency in project management tools (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Microsoft Project, or other workflow documentation software). Familiarity with Information Technology and business operations is essential.

• Preferred: Alternative understanding of hospital or business operations.

• Capability to be a key contributor within a highly integrated team comprising both technical and non-technical members.

• The employee must possess effective communication skills. Exceptional oral and written communication and collaboration abilities are required, including the capacity to convey schedules, priorities, and status updates to all organizational levels.

• Relies on personal experience and judgment to execute job functions and achieve objectives. Capable of handling a variety of complex tasks independently and proficiently. Works with minimal supervision, demonstrating creativity and autonomy.

• Strong understanding of the budget lifecycle, vendor/risk management, and business models. This role can define requirements for developing new programs that align with the strategic direction of the assigned area within the organization.

• Compensation for non-physician roles is based on relevant years of experience and internal equity. Eligible employees may also receive additional compensation such as shift differentials, on-call pay, incentive pay, and bonus opportunities, where applicable. Managerial positions and above may participate in Cottage Health’s annual management incentive program. Physician compensation is determined by specialty and may include bonus potential.
