This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and manage the complete experimentation pipeline from start to finish.
• Ensure that each project commences with a well-defined hypothesis, measurable success criteria, and a structured evaluation framework.
• Implement disciplined decisions on scaling or discontinuing initiatives based on performance results.
• Act as the main integration point between the five-member Stord Labs team and broader enterprise stakeholders, including product, engineering, operations leadership, and warehouse operations teams responsible for executing physical workflows.
• Facilitate decision-making between operations and product leadership to transition validated technologies from lab settings to live production pilots and, ultimately, enterprise-wide deployment.
• Manage and prioritize an experimentation pipeline that encompasses robotics, automation, AI systems, and operational design enhancements, balancing both internal development and external vendor evaluations.
• Coordinate technical and operational engagement with leading AI organizations, robotics suppliers, and academic institutions to test and validate next-generation logistics capabilities.
• Supervise integration testing across third-party automation systems, internal software platforms, human operators, and Stord’s WMS/OMS ecosystem.
• Create structured deployment frameworks and operational playbooks to ensure the successful application of validated lab innovations in production environments.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to organize customer demo days and executive showcases that highlight emerging capabilities and validated innovations.
• Coordinate co-funded pilot programs with enterprise customers to address real operational challenges within the lab before broader implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
• Over 8 years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Management, or complex cross-functional delivery roles.
• Proven experience managing hardware/software integration programs within operational or logistics environments.
• Strong expertise in supply chain systems, warehouse automation, robotics integration, or fulfillment operations.
• Demonstrated experience leading vendor management processes, including RFPs, evaluation frameworks, and the development of strategic partnerships.
• Strong execution discipline in agile, sprint-based, or similar iterative delivery methodologies.
