This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the comprehensive delivery of intricate, cross-functional platform projects, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, architectural strategies, and established timelines.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Security, SRE, and Infrastructure teams to outline: Program scope, Execution strategies, Dependencies, Risks, and Launch readiness criteria.
• Lead initiatives across key platform domains, which include: Workspace, Execution Platform runtime and orchestration, Private and shared data planes, Cloud and hybrid execution capabilities, Service-to-service trust, Enterprise administration, and Cloud adoption.
• Direct planning efforts, encompassing: Scrum of Scrums, Demos, Retrospectives, Dependency reviews, and Risk forums.
• Develop and sustain program documentation such as: Roadmaps, Executive dashboards, RAID logs, Dependency maps, Status reports, Executive communications, and Documentation in Jira, Confluence, and related tools.
• Convert technical insights and architectural choices into actionable plans covering design, development, testing, rollout, and metrics for adoption.
• Oversee delivery and operational success using metrics such as: Milestone achievement, Release readiness, Service health, Quality indicators, and Customer adoption outcomes.
• Assist engineering trust initiatives aimed at enhancing: Reliability, Security, Compliance, Performance, Cost transparency, and Engineering productivity.
• Advocate for delivery best practices and provide mentorship to other Technical Program Managers to enhance execution excellence across Alteryx.
• 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Program Management, or complex software delivery within cloud or platform-oriented environments.
• Proven history of leading large, cross-functional projects that span multiple engineering organizations at the intersection of architecture, infrastructure, security, and product delivery.
• Solid understanding of contemporary cloud platform principles, including: Distributed systems, Microservices, APIs, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Observability, Networking, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience in delivering platform, enterprise SaaS, compliance, or trust-centric programs in collaboration with Security, Trust, GRC, Infrastructure, and SRE teams.
• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, along with the ability to adapt processes to meet team and program requirements.
• Proficient in using Jira, Confluence, and other planning and reporting tools.
• Demonstrated capability to handle ambiguity, establish structure in evolving problem areas, and foster alignment among technical and executive stakeholders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to customize messaging for engineers, senior leadership, and cross-functional collaborators.
• Strong facilitation, relationship-building, and influencing abilities, with a proactive approach and a proven track record of eliminating obstacles for teams.
• Experience utilizing AI tools to enhance planning, communication, analysis, or execution workflows.
