This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Oversee and direct critical initiatives and programs for the Fintech teams.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Support the optimization and enhancement of existing program management processes and methodologies.
• Develop and sustain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and documentation for multiple projects at once.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and obstacles, while driving strategies for mitigation and resolution.
• Manage stakeholder expectations through effective, proactive communication and transparent reporting.
• Monitor and communicate program status, health, metrics, and milestones to leadership.
• Coordinate quarterly and annual capacity planning across Fintech engineering teams to enhance resource allocation.
• Promote continuous process improvement initiatives and best practices in collaboration with product and engineering management.
• 3-5+ years of experience in program management within software engineering environments.
• Knowledge and comprehension of software development practices.
• Proven track record of delivering complex software engineering programs on schedule and within scope.
• Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships across teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Solid familiarity with agile methodologies (particularly Scrum) and experience serving as a Scrum Master.
• Demonstrated capacity to conduct quarterly and annual capacity planning and manage resource allocation.
• Proficient with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, etc.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Nice to Have:
• Experience in the Fintech sector.
• Agile certifications such as CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or similar.
• Experience utilizing Jellyfish to monitor engineering team performance.
