Technical Marketing Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage GTM integrations: Conceive, execute, and resolve issues with integrations within our marketing and revenue ecosystem utilizing APIs, webhooks, native integrations, automation platforms, and lightweight scripts.

• Establish dependable automation workflows: Construct multi-step workflows in platforms such as Customer.io, Salesforce Flow, n8n, Zapier, and other GTM systems. Integrate branching logic, payload transformations, retries, error handling, alerts, and documentation to ensure automations can scale beyond simple fixes.

• Troubleshoot data and workflow issues: Examine broken syncs, absent fields, malformed payloads, API errors, rate limits, attribution discrepancies, and automation edge cases. You should be adept at reading logs, testing endpoints, and tracing data across various systems.

• Support GTM systems architecture: Assist in determining how tools should interconnect, where data should reside, how fields should align, and how teams should consistently utilize systems across marketing, sales, success, and RevOps.

• Enhance data quality and accessibility: Develop processes that bolster data hygiene, enrichment, segmentation, attribution, reporting, and operational visibility throughout the GTM organization.

• Create lightweight operational scripts: Utilize Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar tools to automate routine tasks, process CSVs, call APIs, restructure data, and resolve problems that are too complex for standard no-code tools.

• Collaborate with GTM teams: Work alongside Growth, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product, and RevOps to comprehend business requirements and convert them into dependable technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, CX Operations, Solutions Engineering, or a similarly technical GTM systems role, preferably within a B2B SaaS company.

• Strong practical experience with APIs, webhooks, automation platforms, CRMs, marketing automation tools, and data systems.

• Proficiency in reading API documentation, testing requests, inspecting payloads, troubleshooting errors, and comprehending data flow between systems.

• Experience in creating automations using tools like Customer.io, Salesforce Flow, n8n, Zapier, Make, Airtable, or comparable platforms.

• Capability to write or adjust lightweight scripts for operational tasks, such as batch data updates, CSV transformations, API calls, enrichment jobs, or singular workflow fixes.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to independently address ambiguous systems issues across various tools.

• Excellent documentation practices, with the capacity to clearly communicate technical systems to non-technical stakeholders.
