This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Proactively identify potential bottlenecks prior to their occurrence by collaborating with R&D and Product to establish requirements, highlight technical dependencies, and formulate delivery schedules.
• Facilitate communication among three distinct domains: R&D, Product/Engineering, and Finance.
• Create execution rituals tailored to a scientific team environment.
• Take ownership of the roadmap from start to finish: develop, advocate for, and revise it as necessary.
• Lead discussions regarding resource allocation with management and finance, advocating for the needs of R&D.
• Ensure successful product launches by effectively managing the final stages of delivery.
• Contribute significantly to the transformation of drug discovery, advancing machine learning, and safeguarding public health against disease.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in technical program management or a comparable position.
• Hands-on experience within R&D or deep-science teams that have successfully delivered world-class products.
• A demonstrated history of intervening in a program during a crisis and successfully steering it back on course.
• Capability to create and uphold ROI-generating roadmaps for teams engaged in genuinely innovative, high-uncertainty scientific projects.
• Proven proficiency in rapidly acquiring fluency in a new scientific domain to make sound independent decisions.
• An advanced degree in a technical discipline or substantial experience working within highly scientific teams.
• Experience in direct collaboration with finance and product leadership to link technical delivery to investment choices.
• A proactive mindset, consistently questioning "how might this plan fail in six months?" before issues arise.
