This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Support the Program Manager (PM) in a scientific program.

• Offer technical assistance and organize conferences, demonstrations, exhibitions, events, meetings, and technical evaluations.

• Maintain briefings and coordinate contributions for data requests, including budget exhibit submissions, congressional inquiries, and budgetary exercises.

• Act as a technical liaison among senior officials from various departments, services/agencies, government laboratories, academia, and industry representatives.

• Aid in the creation and upkeep of essential documents and master plans.

• Facilitate the technical management of programs, encompassing acquisition plan development, government project representation, and performance assessment regarding technical goals, cost, and schedule.

• Possess familiarity with the creation of databases for technical program tracking of milestones using tools such as task sheets, mission model canvas sheets, quad sheets, fact sheets, and drafting portfolio review presentations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree - A Master's Degree may be accepted in lieu of two (2) years of experience.

• Ten (10) years of experience in engineering, mathematics, or science, including fields such as biology, chemistry, computer science, and physics.

• Recent experience (within the last 5 years) in federal acquisition and budgeting.

• Background in Science and Technology (S&T) program management.

• Proven experience in managing technical programs exceeding $1M.

• Expertise in planning methodologies for analyzing research programs and developing databases for technical and programmatic tracking of significant deliverables and milestones.

• Experience in evaluating and developing analytical models, procedures, and techniques.

• Proficient in executing and reviewing technical studies, analyses, and design activities.

• Active Secret DoD Clearance.
