This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and execute educational programs for the departmental initiative.
• Formulate strategies, assess progress, and establish policies that support student retention.
• Oversee curricula to ensure adherence to South College standards and other accrediting organizations.
• Ensure consistent delivery and uniformity across courses in the curriculum.
• Take charge of the logistics related to course delivery, including master course templates, syllabi, and textbooks.
• Allocate courses to both full-time and adjunct faculty in line with South College’s “Faculty Workloads Governing Principles for Faculty”.
• Oversee the recruitment, selection, training, evaluation, retention, and success of both full-time and adjunct faculty.
• Manage South College’s professional growth and development program, including in-service training and faculty meetings for program faculty.
• Supervise all online courses to ensure prompt student email responses from faculty, faculty grading turnaround (within 72 hours), and other essential elements for effective online course management.
• Cultivate faculty capable of delivering instruction via online platforms to align with the strategic objectives of South College.
• A minimum of a terminal degree in a related discipline.
• Proven experience teaching courses in an online format.
