This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of products and platforms that ensure PrizePicks remains fast, observable, and scalable.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and SRE teams to pinpoint bottlenecks, gaps, and opportunities throughout the internal development lifecycle.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle for performance and monitoring initiatives from discovery to delivery and iteration.
• Convert engineering requirements into clear specifications and user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize initiatives based on their impact, urgency, and feasibility.
• Establish success metrics and utilize data to assess impact, highlight insights, and guide trade-offs.
• Advocate for internal engineers to ensure that products address real challenges and are user-friendly.
• Relay goals, progress, and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Enhance application performance, scalability, error and incident management, release frequency, developer productivity, and address infrastructure technical debt.
• Over 5 years of experience in product management or a closely related field.
• More than 3 years of experience working on platform, developer experience, and/or infrastructure products.
• Proven track record of effectively interfacing between developer and infrastructure teams.
• Proficient with scrum/agile ceremonies and methodologies.
• Demonstrated success in high-growth or startup settings.
• Quick learner with the ability to ask insightful questions about new technical and domain concepts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• Relevant industry experience in fintech and/or gaming.
• Practical experience as a product, infrastructure, or site reliability engineer.
• Familiarity with contemporary observability and monitoring tools, SLOs/SLIs, and incident management practices.
• Experience in promoting the adoption of error budgets to influence roadmap decisions.
