Senior Technical Product Manager

Posted Jul 20

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the roadmap for the WISEcode Intelligence platform while managing cross-functional programs that contribute to it.

• Collaborate with our Science and Data team to operate the computational scoring pipeline as a well-defined, managed program.

• Convert scientific logic into precise product requirements.

• Facilitate time-boxed partner engagements, ensuring internal teams are aligned on scope and timelines.

• Assist with demos, RFP responses, and follow-ups to sustain commercial momentum.

• Develop clear and structured documentation, enabling every team to operate with confidence.

• Conduct agile ceremonies that facilitate progress across multiple squads while acting as the primary contact for a distributed product and data team.

• Establish acceptance criteria and conduct evaluations for AI/LLM-powered features, ensuring model quality is quantitatively assessed rather than assumed.

• Advocate for product needs within the company’s data model and ingredient taxonomy.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years in product management, technical program management, or a similar hybrid role, preferably focused on data-intensive or platform products.

• Technical proficiency in SQL, APIs, data pipelines, feature flags, and AI/LLM-based systems — while production coding is not necessary, you should be able to critically assess an engineering plan and identify unit-conversion errors in datasets.

• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with clear tracking of owners, timelines, dependencies, and decision logs, effortlessly transforming ambiguity into structure.

• Experience in coordinating with external vendors or partners: defining project scope, negotiating timelines, and ensuring accountability on both sides.

• Strong stakeholder management skills to align assertive senior technical partners and drive decisions without formal authority.

• Outstanding written and facilitation skills that make intricate technical work understandable to sales, marketing, and executive teams.

• A quick, enthusiastic learner — this role spans topics from nutrient ontologies to scoring logic to retail partner demonstrations within a single week, and you can achieve conversational fluency in unfamiliar domains in days, not months.

• A background or genuine interest in food, nutrition, or health data is advantageous; scientific literacy is essential.

🏝️ Benefits

• WISEcode is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment for all employees. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
