This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Convert market, customer, clinical, operational, and business needs into technical specifications, solution concepts, user stories, acceptance criteria, and development plans.
• Serve as the key intermediary among business stakeholders, product leadership, engineering, architecture, IT, bioinformatics/genomic technology, laboratory, R&D, digital products, customer experience, quality, and other collaborators.
• Create and oversee technical product specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, feature backlogs, process flows, and documentation ready for implementation.
• Prioritize tasks based on customer value, business impact, operational requirements, technical feasibility, risks, dependencies, and resource limitations.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX, quality, operations, laboratory, commercial, clinical, R&D, customer experience, and business teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Facilitate timely delivery, implementation, readiness for change, adoption, and measurable value realization.
• Assess product metrics, customer feedback, market trends, workflow data, system capabilities, technical limitations, and implementation trade-offs.
• Analyze solution alternatives, document workflows, outline integration needs, clarify system impacts, and identify risks and dependencies.
• Maintain expertise in clinical products, genetic testing workflows, bioinformatics/genomic technology, digital and operational systems, customer requirements, competition, and market dynamics.
• Assist in rollout activities through documentation, stakeholder communication, testing, workflow preparedness, adoption tracking, and post-implementation feedback.
• Track product performance and foster continuous improvement of both internal and customer-facing workflows and solution quality.
• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, genetics, bioinformatics, healthcare, business, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in technical product management within diagnostics, genomics, or a related area.
• Background in IT, R&D, or another technical domain.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams or initiatives in clinical, healthcare, laboratory, or regulated settings.
• Ability to translate clinical, market, customer, and partner insights into product specifications, technical solutions, and implementation and testing strategies.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• A combination of education and experience equivalent to the above may be considered.
• Preferred: advanced degree such as MS, PhD, or MBA.
• Familiarity with internal systems, data flows, integrations, digital platforms, bioinformatics/genomic technology, laboratory workflows, and technical dependencies.
• Competence in managing roadmaps, feature backlogs, dependencies, sequencing, and prioritization.
• Proficiency in utilizing product metrics, customer feedback, workflow data, operational indicators, quality measures, market insights, and technical constraints for product decisions.
