This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Take charge of product discovery and delivery - Lead the product process from initial understanding and requirements gathering to prioritization, specification, delivery, testing, and release.
• Simplify complexity into clarity - Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend business objectives, user requirements, technical constraints, and operational necessities, then convert them into concise product documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans.
• Develop product roadmaps - Create and sustain product roadmaps that effectively balance business value, user impact, technical feasibility, and delivery capacity.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams - Partner with backend, frontend, mobile, DevOps, QA, and AI engineers to define requirements, clarify scope, resolve dependencies, and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Assist with API and integration planning - Work alongside technical leads on API contracts, third-party integrations, system workflows, data exchange, and platform architecture decisions.
• Oversee cross-platform delivery - Manage product initiatives across web applications, mobile apps, admin systems, backend services, dashboards, and external systems.
• Manage stakeholder relationships - Serve as the primary link between client-side stakeholders and Afternow’s product, design, and engineering teams. Facilitate product discussions, clarify expectations, manage scope, and support decision-making.
• Ensure backlog quality - Maintain a clear, structured, prioritized backlog that is ready for execution. Ensure teams grasp the rationale, objectives, and expected outcomes behind each initiative.
• Promote scalable product thinking - Contribute to the development of products that can expand across markets, user groups, integrations, and business needs.
• Over 5 years of experience in Technical Product Management.
• Professional proficiency in both Spanish and English.
• Proven experience in delivering complex B2B software, SaaS platforms, digital products, or integration-heavy systems.
• Knowledge of Microservices, AWS Cloud Architecture, Mobile Apps, and API Contracts.
• Strong technical insight and the ability to discuss APIs, backend services, mobile app flows, cloud-based systems, data models, third-party integrations, and scalable architectures with engineers.
• Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies, discovery, roadmap planning, backlog management, user stories, acceptance criteria, release planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in fintech, commerce, SaaS, marketplaces, logistics, ERP, POS, supply chain, retail tech, or related fields is a significant advantage.
• Remote work maturity – organized, proactive, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a fully remote setting.
