This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• The primary responsibilities for this position encompass:
• - Platform Vision & Roadmap: Take ownership of the technical product lifecycle and roadmap for Ametris’ essential data ingestion engines, cloud architecture, and developer APIs.
• - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Data Science, Firmware/Hardware Engineering, and Cloud Software teams to effectively scale data management from raw wearable sensor outputs to regulatory-compliant digital endpoints.
• - API & Integration Strategy: Develop and document comprehensive, developer-friendly APIs and data pipelines that integrate Ametris seamlessly with clinical trial systems (e.g., Electronic Data Capture / EDC platforms).
• - Regulatory Alignment: Work alongside Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure our data platforms comply with life science standards, including FDA 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, GDPR, and GxP guidelines.
• - Technical Requirements: Compose highly technical PRDs, architectural overviews, and detailed epic/user story backlogs. Advocate for Agile/Scrum methodologies within engineering teams.
• - Data Analytics & Infrastructure: Propel technical strategies related to raw signal processing storage, high-throughput cloud ingestion, and the deployment frameworks for machine learning/algorithms.
• The ideal candidate will possess:
• - Required Qualifications
• - Experience: Over 5 years of Product Management experience, with a strong focus on Technical Product Management (TPM) or Platform Product Management.
• - Industry: Demonstrated success working within HealthTech, Digital Health, Biotech, or Medical Devices.
• - Technical Domain: Practical experience in scaling distributed cloud systems (Azure preferred), relational/non-relational databases, and intricate data pipeline architectures.
• - Interoperability: Profound understanding of RESTful APIs, data serialization, and healthcare data exchange standards.
• - Preferred Qualifications
• - Knowledge of digital clinical measures, actigraphy data, signal processing, or biometric wearable sensors.
• - Previous experience navigating the FDA Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) landscape or validated systems environments.
• - Strong analytical capabilities using SQL, Python, or data visualization tools to assess data health and platform performance.
• Educational Requirements
• Required:
• - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
