Senior Technical Lead – AI Cybersecurity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical guidance across all workstreams of the AI Cybersecurity Program

• Establish and confirm technical requirements, use cases, architectural principles, and solution designs

• Assess and recommend AI security technologies, products, and vendors

• Ensure that solutions are compliant with client security standards, architectural principles, and operational needs

• Lead technical evaluations, proof-of-concept initiatives, vendor demonstrations, and technology assessments

• Assist in the selection and implementation of AI detection and response, AI activity monitoring and governance, automation of vulnerability management, AI threat detection and response, AI evasion in video conferencing technologies, secure browser solutions, and password management systems

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Digital teams to meet both business and technical requirements

• Direct technical integrations and the configuration of selected tools along with existing security solutions

• Coordinate Transition to Operations activities among support teams

• Ensure that operational processes, documentation, monitoring, and support needs are established prior to production launch

• Collaborate with communications teams on the technical aspects of end-user notifications and training materials

• Work alongside managed service providers and operational teams to facilitate successful adoption

• Provide ongoing governance and oversight for deployed solutions

• Monitor the effectiveness of solutions and operational results

• Promote continuous improvement and optimization throughout the duration of the contract

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity

• More than 5 years in a technical lead, security architect, or leadership role in cybersecurity engineering

• Proficiency in enterprise security tool selection and implementation

• Strong understanding of commonly used security tools

• Experience with Microsoft and CrowdStrike is preferred

• Background in large-scale cybersecurity transformation initiatives

• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities
