Senior Technical Integration Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical liaison for both external and internal stakeholders throughout the onboarding and implementation phases.

• Oversee, coordinate, and execute projects related to data and technical integrations.

• Engage in EMR integrations, third-party vendor integrations, data retrievals, API connections, and SFTP data feeds.

• Lead discussions between technical and business stakeholders, both internal and external.

• Create, document, and present data flow diagrams.

• Manage integration projects to ensure timely and successful outcomes.

• Convert clinical and operational requirements into technical configurations and workflows.

• Develop and maintain technical specifications, workflow/process diagrams, implementation guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Conduct data quality assurance (QA) and validation through scripts and manual checks to ensure format, completeness, and accuracy.

• Diagnose and resolve integration challenges in collaboration with engineering, vendor, and client teams.

• Oversee go-live planning, execution, ongoing maintenance, and post-implementation support.

• Assist in the onboarding of clinical data from new practices and claims data from new payers.

• Manage technical implementation projects in partnership with healthcare vendors.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical discipline such as Computer Science, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or Statistics, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in technical implementation, data integration, or data analytics within the healthcare sector.

• Proficient understanding of healthcare data formats and standards, including HL7, FHIR, CCDA, XML, and JSON.

• Knowledge of clinical vocabularies and coding systems, such as CPT, ICD-10, SNOMED, NPI, and RXNORM.

• Significant experience with ETL pipelines, data normalization/processing, SFTP, and API connections.

• Proficient in using Jira and Confluence.

• Experience with data QA and validation techniques.

• Familiarity with SQL, Python, and Bash.

• Demonstrated experience in leading technical implementation projects in healthcare, including onboarding clients or vendors.

• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Understanding of healthcare workflows, including care management, risk adjustment, quality improvement, revenue cycle, prior authorizations, and value-based care.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with clinical and technical stakeholders.

• Proficiency in SQL.

• Proficiency in Python.

• Experience with AWS.

• Experience in developing API endpoints for data transfer.

• Familiarity with the Arcadia Analytics Foundry database schema.

• Experience using source control systems such as GitHub, CVS, or Subversion throughout the software development lifecycle for production.

• Ability to work during specified working hours while maintaining internet service with at least 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.

• Must adhere to security policies and procedures to protect PHI, PII, and company intellectual property.
