Senior Technical Integration Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary technical liaison for both external and internal stakeholders throughout the onboarding and implementation phases.

• Oversee, coordinate, and execute projects related to data and technical integration.

• Implement integrations with EMR systems, third-party vendors, data retrieval mechanisms, API connections, and SFTP data transfers.

• Lead conversations among internal and external technical and business stakeholders.

• Create, document, and present data flow diagrams.

• Manage integration projects to ensure timely and successful delivery.

• Convert clinical and operational needs into technical configurations and workflows.

• Develop and maintain technical specifications, workflow and process diagrams, implementation guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Conduct data quality assurance and validation, including both automated scripts and manual checks to ensure format, completeness, and accuracy.

• Diagnose and resolve integration challenges in collaboration with engineering, vendor, and client teams.

• Oversee go-live planning, execution, maintenance, and post-implementation support.

• Assist in the onboarding of clinical data from new practices and claims data from new payers.

• Manage technical implementation projects with healthcare vendors.

• Aid in the deployment and successful launch of AI- and data-driven healthcare solutions.

• Adhere to security policies and procedures to safeguard PHI, PII, and Guidehealth's intellectual property.

• Disclose any secondary employment and maintain availability during designated working hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical discipline such as Computer Science, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or Statistics, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in technical implementation, data integration, or data analytics within the healthcare sector.

• Familiarity with healthcare data formats and standards, including HL7, FHIR, CCDA, XML, and JSON.

• Understanding of clinical vocabularies and coding systems, including CPT, ICD-10, SNOMED, NPI, and RXNORM.

• Extensive experience with ETL pipelines, data normalization/processing, SFTP, and API connections.

• Proficient in using Jira and Confluence.

• Experience with data quality assurance and validation methodologies.

• Knowledge of SQL, Python, and Bash for data querying and script execution.

• Demonstrated experience leading technical implementation projects in healthcare, including onboarding clients or vendors.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Comprehension of healthcare workflows, including care management, risk adjustment, quality improvement, revenue cycle, prior authorizations, and value-based care.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities for engaging both clinical and technical stakeholders.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Proficient in Python.

• Experience with AWS.

• Experience in building API endpoints for data transfer.

• Familiarity with the Arcadia Analytics Foundry database schema.

• Experience utilizing source control software such as GitHub, CVS, or Subversion throughout the software development lifecycle for production.

• Capability to work remotely with a minimum internet connection of 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
