Senior Technical Integration Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary technical liaison for both external and internal stakeholders throughout the onboarding and implementation phases.

• Oversee, coordinate, and execute projects related to data and technical integration.

• Execute EMR integrations, integrate third-party vendors, conduct data retrievals, establish API connections, and manage SFTP data transfers.

• Facilitate conversations between technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Create, document, and present data flow diagrams.

• Manage integration projects to guarantee successful outcomes.

• Convert clinical and operational requirements into technical setups and workflows.

• Develop and maintain technical specifications, workflow and process diagrams, implementation guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Conduct data quality assurance and validation through scripts and manual checks to ensure format, completeness, and accuracy.

• Diagnose and solve integration challenges in collaboration with engineering, vendor, and client teams.

• Oversee go-live planning, execution, maintenance, and support following implementation.

• Assist in onboarding clinical data from new practices and claims data from new payers.

• Manage technical implementation projects involving healthcare vendors.

• Aid in the successful deployment and launch of AI and data-driven healthcare solutions.

• Adhere to security protocols to safeguard PHI, PII, and proprietary company information.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical discipline such as Computer Science, Health Informatics, Information Systems, Statistics, or equivalent practical experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in technical implementation, data integration, or data analytics within the healthcare sector.

• Proficient understanding of healthcare data formats and standards, including HL7, FHIR, CCDA, XML, and JSON.

• Acquainted with clinical vocabularies and coding systems such as CPT, ICD-10, SNOMED, NPI, and RXNORM.

• Extensive experience with ETL pipelines, data normalization/processing, SFTP, and API integrations.

• Proficient in using Jira and Confluence.

• Experience in data QA and validation methodologies.

• Knowledge of SQL, Python, and Bash.

• Demonstrated experience in leading technical implementation projects in healthcare, including onboarding of clients or vendors.

• Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Comprehension of healthcare workflows, encompassing care management, risk adjustment, quality improvement, revenue cycle, prior authorizations, and value-based care.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities for engaging with clinical and technical stakeholders.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Proficient in Python.

• Experience working with AWS.

• Experience in building API endpoints for data transfers.

• Familiarity with the Arcadia Analytics Foundry database schema.

• Experience utilizing source control software such as GitHub, CVS, or Subversion throughout the software development lifecycle for production.

• Capability to work remotely with an internet connection that supports at least 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.

• Must be available during designated working hours and participate in virtual meetings with cameras enabled.
