This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Act as a senior technical and growth collaborator, aiding in qualification, capture, and proposal initiatives for strategic federal opportunities.

• Facilitate the integration of technical solutions with business growth strategies by closely partnering with GTM, Capture, Proposal, Delivery, and Engineering teams to create engaging technical approaches.

• Concentrate on shaping technical strategy, proposal creation, customer solutions, and growth initiatives.

• Collaborate with Growth, Capture, and GTM leadership to assess and develop strategic federal opportunities.

• Assist in capture and proposal activities from initial qualification through to submission.

• Formulate technical win themes, differentiators, and solution narratives centered on customer needs.

• Simplify complex technical ideas into clear business and customer value propositions.

• Work with proposal, pricing, delivery, and engineering teams to synchronize technical and growth strategies.

• Contribute to the content of technical proposals, architectural approaches, staffing ideas, and solution frameworks.

• Engage in customer discussions, technical dialogues, and growth strategy meetings.

• Serve as a reliable technical advisor during capture and solutioning processes.

• Stay informed about trends in federal civilian acquisitions, customer challenges, and emerging technologies.

• Identify gaps in capabilities and provide recommendations for strategic investments, partnerships, or technical enhancements.

• Support the development of reusable playbooks, technical artifacts, and solution frameworks aimed at enhancing proposal quality and efficiency.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, technical excellence, and continuous improvement throughout Ad Hoc.

• Function as a player/coach during strategic initiatives, assisting in aligning customer requirements with scalable technical solutions.

• Collaborate across teams with minimal bureaucracy and significant autonomy to help shape growth initiatives and solution practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional experience in technical consulting, engineering, architecture, delivery, or related technical fields.

• At least 5 years of recent and relevant experience in supporting federal capture, business development, proposal strategy, sales engineering, or solutioning activities.

• Proven experience in supporting the qualification, capture, and development of federal government proposals.

• Strong technical foundation with the capability to comprehend and convey modern technical architectures and solution strategies.

• Experience in translating technical capabilities into persuasive customer-centric solution narratives.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, effective with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Knowledge of federal procurement environments, evaluation criteria, and acquisition processes.

• Experience collaborating across functions with GTM, proposal, delivery, and technical teams.

• Ability to operate strategically in rapidly changing growth environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Additional relevant professional experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
