This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Lunit is in search of a Director of Clinical Deployment & Growth to spearhead the comprehensive activation of our AI-driven pathology solutions within clinical settings.
• This position is responsible for the entire lifecycle, ranging from initial customer engagement and relationship management to live clinical deployment, workflow integration, adoption, and growth.
• Success is measured by the effective launch of sites, their integration into workflows, and the scaling of usage.
• This role holds significant importance, merging clinical solution sales, deployment leadership, and account expansion.
• It is essential for scaling the practical application of AI-supported pathology to meet the increasing demand for AI integration in laboratories and to enhance the real-world deployment of AI biomarkers developed with Lunit’s biopharma partners.
• The position will directly influence how AI becomes integrated into real-world pathology workflows and contribute to establishing a new benchmark for precision oncology.
• Additionally, this role will facilitate the connection between biomarker discovery and actual clinical adoption, enabling next-generation precision oncology strategies in collaboration with top biopharma companies.
• Identify and engage with leading pathology laboratories, cancer centers, and healthcare systems.
• Lead a consultative sales process with pathologists, lab directors, and IT stakeholders.
• Creatively design contracts and pricing to meet the needs of lab users, in conjunction with channel partners and through direct agreements.
• Work closely with Lunit’s engineering deployment team to foster clinical adoption while navigating the continuously evolving landscape of integration challenges.
• Encourage initial usage by pathologists and lab teams.
• Establish an impactful feedback loop between users and Lunit’s product and engineering teams.
• Identify and pursue expansion opportunities across additional biomarkers/products, departments, and locations.
• Assist in the translation of innovative biomarkers into real-world clinical workflows.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in one or more of the following fields:
• Digital pathology/pathology workflows;
• Clinical lab operations (in CLIA/CAP environments);
• and/or Healthcare AI or enterprise health tech deployment.
• A bachelor's degree in biology, healthcare administration, or a related field of study.
• A proven history of successfully navigating complex consultative sales while driving implementation in clinical settings.
• Strong technical and operational knowledge of:
• Pathology lab workflows and validation requirements.
• Digital pathology infrastructure (IMS, LIS, scanners).
• Proficient in fostering stakeholder relationships across clinical, technical, and executive levels, including with pathologists, laboratory directors, and IT leaders.
• An entrepreneurial spirit and high emotional intelligence to lead initiatives within a streamlined environment.
• Proficiency with essential team collaboration and CRM tools (Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, Slack, other Microsoft software), alongside a strong ability to utilize generative AI tools to enhance workflows and increase daily efficiency.
• Willingness to travel approximately 15% - 30% of the working time, both domestically and internationally, to attend key conferences and engage with clients.
• Access to high-speed internet (minimum of 50 Mbps download, 10 Mbps upload).
• Availability of a quiet, designated home office space that is free from distractions.
• Flexibility to support a global operation across multiple time zones, including collaboration with teams in South Korea outside of regular local business hours.
