Senior Technical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Implement data and permission migration projects from both on-premises and cloud sources to guarantee successful deployment and adoption of the Egnyte platform by customers.

• Serve as a point of contact between customers and internal teams for the monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting of migration tasks.

• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to provide updates and escalate any issues that arise.

• Communicate in a professional and concise manner while adhering to Egnyte Professional Services Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong technical expertise in the following areas:

• Skills in software installation and troubleshooting.

• Proficiency with data and permission migration tools.

• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).

• Knowledge of Windows/Linux Server operating systems.

• Ability to execute and monitor scripts (Python, SQL, PowerShell).

• Solid understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD, and SSO.

• Previous experience in supporting Enterprise software or applications in a technical role within a SaaS environment.

• Background in data and permission migration.

• Significant experience in customer-facing implementation roles while working remotely.

• Capability to lead technical discussions and implementation efforts with stakeholders.

• Exceptional customer engagement and communication abilities.

• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt quickly to changing processes.

• Capacity to actively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• A Bachelor's degree in a related technical field is preferred.

• Over 10 years of relevant technical experience.

• Availability to work during US Eastern time hours on a daily basis.
