Senior Technical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate strategy, roadmap, design, and planning workshops for medium to large service engagements.

• Establish and manage customer expectations.

• Lead project engagement teams in delivering consulting services.

• Oversee objectives, requirements gathering, project tasks, milestones, status, dependencies, and timelines.

• Identify and address project risks and issues.

• Create and finalize project deliverables while conducting peer reviews of team collateral.

• Present deliverables to client executive management.

• Serve as Engagement Lead on customer-facing projects when designated.

• Assist in business development through client discovery meetings.

• Represent service offerings throughout sales cycles, including scoping, proposal development, and client presentations.

• Aid in engagement scoping and the preparation of proposal materials.

• Identify opportunities for collaboration across practices.

• Develop, enhance, and standardize service offerings within the practice.

• Own and/or enable multiple service capabilities.

• Stay informed about current and future IT trends, technologies, and standards.

• Provide support and mentorship to colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven expert in information security and/or information security governance or compliance.

• Demonstrable experience in reviewing and implementing secure cloud reference architectures and landing zones.

• Ability to translate risk strategies by adapting traditional lift-and-shift methods into cloud-native security controls.

• Strong understanding of multi-cloud governance models, including Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), policy-as-code (PaC), tagging standards, and multi-account strategies.

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience with CNAPP tools, especially Wiz and Prisma Cloud.

• Expertise in integrating Wiz and Prisma Cloud with ServiceNow, CI/CD pipelines, and ticketing/alerting workflows.

• Proven track record in deploying and instantiating Prisma Cloud.

• More than 5 years of experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.

• Familiarity with AWS Security Hub, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Google Security Command Center.

• Practical knowledge of cloud identity solutions (IAM, Federation, RBAC) across multi-cloud environments.

• Familiarity with Okta and Entra ID.

• Strong understanding of CIS Benchmarks, NIST, FedRAMP, ISO 27001, and GDPR.

• Ability to design and map cloud-specific controls for audit and compliance requirements.

• Experience with SIEM integration, including Splunk, Sentinel, and Chronicle.

• Proficient in reading, understanding, and applying Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation.

• Familiarity with OPA, Sentinel, and IaC scanning within CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficient in Python, PowerShell, and Bash.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including securing workloads at scale.

• Ability to maintain subject matter expertise in at least eight security domains or three security solutions.
