This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Propel growth in engineering services, software development, embedded systems, and connected products.
• Discover opportunities and establish strategic partnerships.
• Enhance industry connections and represent the organization at trade shows and industry events.
• Assist clients in overcoming complex technical challenges by leveraging engineering capabilities.
• Participate in discussions related to embedded systems, software development, IoT architectures, hardware design, cloud-connected products, and engineering services.
• Cultivate meaningful relationships with engineering leaders and executive decision-makers.
• At least 10 years of experience in business development, technical sales, account management, or engineering services sales.
• Proven track record of generating and closing complex B2B opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to independently cultivate new business through networking, prospecting, referrals, partnerships, trade shows, and relationship-building initiatives.
• Experience managing opportunities with typical engagement values ranging from $100,000 to over $500,000.
• Excellent communication skills capable of engaging both technical and executive audiences.
• Experience presenting solutions to Engineering Managers, Directors of Engineering, Vice Presidents of Engineering, Product Leaders, CTOs, CEOs, and other key decision-makers.
• Strong skills in consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Proficient in using CRM systems for managing pipelines, forecasts, and customer interactions.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed for customer meetings, conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
• Self-driven individual capable of working independently in a remote setting.
• Background in selling embedded systems engineering services.
• Experience in selling software development services.
• Knowledge in selling IoT, connected product, cloud, or digital transformation solutions.
• Familiarity with selling engineering consulting services.
• Experience in selling engineering staff augmentation services.
• Technical background in engineering, computer science, electronics, software development, or a related field.
• Experience collaborating with product development organizations, engineering firms, contract manufacturers, or technology consultancies.
• Established professional network within embedded systems, industrial technology, IoT, manufacturing, energy, government, or similar industries.
• Previous engineering experience is highly regarded.
• Familiarity with Zoho CRM is an advantage.
