Senior Technical Business Analyst, Report Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Organize stakeholder meetings to gather and document business requirements, along with analyzing and capturing both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Collaborate closely with the scrum team to translate business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications.

• Develop process diagrams (e.g., Visio) to illustrate workflows and system interactions.

• Compose clear, traceable, and testable requirements formatted as user stories.

• Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and product teams to comprehend and document reporting needs.

• Establish reporting scope, objectives, data sources, and success criteria in line with project objectives.

• Create, modify, and maintain reports within the Nuvolo Service Now platform, ensuring alignment with previously gathered requirements.

• Perform impact analysis to pinpoint gaps, risks, and dependencies related to reporting requirements.

• Design and implement test plans to confirm report functionality, precision, and completeness.

• Execute root cause analysis on data discrepancies and collaborate with data engineers to resolve any issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a comparable position.

• Practical experience with the ServiceNow Nuvolo application.

• Solid understanding of asset management and/or maintenance management systems.

• Experience with supply chain systems and processes.

• Familiarity with systems, processes, or projects within the Department of Veterans Affairs.

• Background in Agile SAFe environments.

• Capability to obtain and uphold a Public Trust clearance.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Experience with system integrations and data analysis.
