Senior Business Analyst – Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Serve as a crucial link between business strategy and technological implementation.

• Lead functional specifications, process improvements, and compliance alignment for digital platforms and financial offerings.

• Collect, assess, and document both functional and non-functional requirements in close partnership with various business sectors.

• Conduct discovery sessions, process mapping workshops, and backlog refinement meetings.

• Evaluate existing processes (AS-IS) and create optimized future processes (TO-BE).

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst within the banking, fintech, or financial services sectors.

• Comprehensive understanding of banking products (such as accounts, payment methods, and digital channels) and financial regulatory frameworks (BCRA preferred).

• Advanced student or graduate in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.

• Strong capability to write user stories with distinct, testable acceptance criteria, and maintain backlogs in collaboration with Product Owners.

• Proficient in process mapping (AS-IS / TO-BE), establishing business rules, functional flows, use cases, and decision matrices.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities to present and justify definitions to stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Information Security, and Operations.

• Proactive attitude with a high degree of independence to foresee impacts, identify edge cases, and clarify functional ambiguities.

• Preferred qualifications: Experience managing relationships and requirement specifications with external vendors and third-party integrations.

• Practical experience in analyzing platform metrics and product KPIs to support data-driven decision-making.

• Familiarity with agile tools (Jira, Confluence) and collaborative discovery workshop methods.
