This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Act as the primary technical authority in customer engagements, taking ownership of architecture decisions and driving measurable results across intricate, multi-workstream implementations.
• Collaborate with customer executives and senior technical leadership to establish platform strategies, create long-term roadmaps, and align Snowflake capabilities with business goals.
• Convert vague business challenges into clearly defined, scalable technical solutions, outlining clear delivery pathways and strategies for risk mitigation.
• Function as the go-to escalation point for technical challenges within engagements, facilitating delivery teams and resolving architectural problems.
• Design and implement comprehensive AI/ML solutions on Snowflake, establishing benchmarks for scalability, performance, security, and operability throughout the customer’s environment.
• Advocate for MLOps practices within customer organizations, encompassing model deployment pipelines, monitoring, governance frameworks, and lifecycle management.
• Promote the adoption of Snowflake's AI product suite (Cortex, Streamlit in Snowflake, Snowflake Intelligence) through architectural guidance and direct delivery involvement.
• Lead replatforming initiatives for complex AI/ML workloads onto Snowflake, coordinating efforts among customer engineering, data science, and platform teams.
• Bridge the gap between SD delivery, Go-to-Market, and Snowflake product teams, relaying customer feedback to influence product development.
• Mentor and offer technical guidance to junior architects and consultants within engagements.
• Contribute to the creation of reusable architecture patterns, reference implementations, and delivery accelerators for the broader PD organization.
• BA/BS in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, data engineering, or a senior customer-facing technical role.
• Proven track record of leading architecture decisions on large-scale, enterprise data and AI platforms.
• Extensive hands-on experience with implementing Snowflake in production settings, including data modeling, performance optimization, security design, and platform governance.
• Expert-level knowledge of the entire data analytics stack, from ETL and data pipelines to data platform architecture, BI tools, and semantic layers.
• Strong understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle, from data preparation and feature engineering to model training, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing governance.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, with the ability to produce and review production-quality code as part of delivery leadership.
• Experience in designing and implementing MLOps frameworks and model lifecycle management at an enterprise level.
