Senior Tech Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assume complete responsibility for high-level oversight of the company's operations, ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently throughout the organization.

• Oversee the management of escalations and incidents, facilitating prompt resolutions to minimize disruptions in business operations.

• Perform thorough technical investigations and collaborate on designing solutions that tackle complex issues and enhance system performance.

• Utilize data analysis to confirm hypotheses, reveal insights, and pinpoint optimization opportunities that foster operational excellence and prevent incidents.

• Support and direct strategic and operational projects that influence the business's direction and efficiency.

• Proactively recognize and implement significant improvements in product and technology systems from an operational standpoint.

• Collaborate closely with the operations team to develop, implement, and refine tools and processes that enhance efficiency and streamline workflows.

• Effectively manage internal and external communications, working across teams to ensure seamless issue resolution and provide clear, transparent updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in similar positions such as 2nd and 3rd level Technical Support, IT Analyst, Monitoring roles, etc.

• Capable of successfully identifying the root cause of reported incidents and providing high-level analysis of the solution design.

• Possess a product-oriented mindset focused on long-term risk prevention and mitigation strategies.

• Proficient in investigating complex SQL queries and relational databases.

• Ability to formulate strategies to anticipate, prevent, and address potential technical and operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

• Familiarity with Jira and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic is highly desirable.

• Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve incoming technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

• Fluent in English, capable of simplifying complex information for better understanding.

• Analytical, independent, and tech-savvy.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with frequent context switching.
