This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Spearhead strategic initiatives for major clients and intricate projects
• Act on behalf of clients in dealings with taxing authorities during appeals and hearings
• Review and authorize analyses and deliverables for clients
• Uphold quality-control standards and implement best practices
• Propel business development by pinpointing and defining opportunities, crafting proposals, and promoting DMA’s comprehensive range of services
• Manage essential client accounts and broaden service offerings
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to team members
• Assist in performance management and support career growth
• Engage in talent acquisition and onboarding processes
• Oversee the upkeep of cases, assessments, and jurisdictional information within DMA’s review management system
• Supervise production, billing, invoicing, and ensure engagement profitability
• Guarantee adherence to jurisdictional deadlines for filings, audits, appeals, protests, and tax payment schedules
• Keep abreast of industry developments, legislation, and judicial decisions
• Update clients and internal leadership on pertinent advancements
• Work autonomously while encouraging team collaboration
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
• Over 7 years of professional experience
• Background in negotiations with contract appraisal firms (Capital, P&A) and their valuation approaches
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Exceptional communication skills suitable for executive-level interactions
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent organizational, research, and interpersonal abilities
• Capacity to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Valid driver’s license required
• Regular 40-hour work week commitment
• Willingness to travel 15–25%
