This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee and execute the complete recruitment process for academic and provider positions at Cedars-Sinai.
• Create and implement extensive sourcing strategies and recruitment solutions to attract both active and passive candidates while considering budget limitations.
• Maintain substantial communication with clients and candidates throughout each search, providing timely updates. Work collaboratively with hiring leaders to share qualified candidate materials and arrange visits.
• Prepare and present job offers to candidates, negotiating as necessary. Stay involved during the relocation and transition process to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
• Collaborate with departments to gain insights into their structure, faculty roster, accomplishments, operations, and locations to effectively communicate with candidates.
• Promote a concierge-style approach to recruiting and onboarding high-quality faculty and providers.
• Address and resolve questions or issues related to policies, procedures, programs, or benefits, partnering with the Director or Associate Director as required.
• Conduct thorough salary analyses to recommend salaries based on experience, market data, and internal equity, and negotiate job offers.
• Provide support and guidance to hiring leaders throughout the recruitment process. Create training materials and process outlines for hiring managers.
• Collaborate on and lead HR projects, including organizing hiring events/job fairs, attending meetings, reporting on recruitment initiatives, and assisting during regulatory surveys.
• Implement recruitment practices that comply with active Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) for union transfers and hires.
• Build partnerships with affiliated schools, associations, and boards. Lead and participate in networking events such as job/career fairs to create talent pipelines.
• Generate special reports, charts, and spreadsheets as needed, utilizing quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, enhance outcomes, and influence hiring decisions.
• A high school diploma or its equivalent.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Talent Advisor or Recruiter role.
• Experience in healthcare, with significant experience in physician/faculty/provider recruitment within either a community hospital or an academic setting, is preferred.
