This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Recruit: Employ advanced sourcing methods to discover and engage both active and passive candidates.
• Evaluate candidates for technical skills, cultural alignment, leadership potential, and provide strategic insights on candidate selection.
• Offer guidance and mentorship to junior recruiters on sophisticated sourcing and screening methodologies.
• Clearly communicate a compelling career opportunity aligned with the candidate’s motivations.
• Ensure the recruitment process is inclusive, fair, and results in a positive candidate experience.
• Act as a brand ambassador by sharing content on social media and promoting the GE Vernova (GEV) talent brand.
• Enhance GEV's visibility in targeted channels to develop candidate engagement strategies and create essential pipelines for hard-to-fill positions.
• Advise & Lead: Utilize recruitment data and market insights to refine recruitment strategies, providing actionable recommendations for process enhancement and influencing stakeholders based on market trends and talent availability.
• Oversee and guide the complete recruitment process for roles of varying complexity, offering insights and recommendations to hiring managers and people leaders.
• Facilitate intricate offer negotiations with candidates and advise stakeholders on compensation benchmarks.
• Manage the candidate/requisition lifecycle in the ATS with utmost accuracy and timeliness to ensure data integrity for reporting.
• Innovation & Continuous Learning: Implement Lean principles in daily operations to identify opportunities for optimizing recruitment processes, track KPIs, and pinpoint areas for continuous improvement. Engage in projects and adopt best practices in daily operations.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge or experience.
• Significant experience in recruitment with a focus on sourcing, screening, managing complex offers, and advising stakeholders.
• Proven consultative recruitment experience within the Conventional Power, Electric, or Renewable Energy sectors, or other highly regulated, technical industries.
• Demonstrated experience in recruiting niche roles for the Quebec province.
• Fluent French speaker.
• 10% annual bonus eligibility.
