This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.
• Identify, source, evaluate, and recommend potential candidates.
• Facilitate the onboarding of new employees and manage the interview and onboarding processes.
• Discover opportunities to develop applicant pools.
• Build trust and collaborate with hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
• Assess candidate suitability through effective interviewing techniques and assessments.
• Represent Avantor at recruitment events.
• Draft and issue offer letters.
• Manage the applicant tracking system, recruitment reports, and staffing administration.
• Provide support to the North America Commercial Sales division.
• Leverage Talent Market Intelligence tools and resources to inform stakeholders and enhance recruitment strategies.
• Cultivate a pool of qualified candidates for current and future business needs.
• Decrease time-to-fill positions through direct sourcing, networking, social media engagement, pipelining, and referrals.
• Enhance efficiency in the talent acquisition process and stakeholder engagement.
• Implement process simplification and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Achieve high-impact results.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or Psychology is preferred.
• Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of the preferred bachelor’s degree.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing the entire Talent Acquisition life cycle in a corporate environment, professional search firm, or sourcing role is required.
• Experience with Workday or similar ATS is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams is preferred.
• HR-related certifications such as PHR/SPHR are preferred.
• Certifications in Diversity and Inclusion are preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
• Must be a process-oriented and data-driven professional.
• Possess strong storytelling, persuasive, and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to present information effectively to audiences at all levels of the organization.
