Senior Systems & Process Leader – Product Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of contractors tasked with managing product-management tools, systems, and governance processes.

• Facilitate the integration of new system functionalities with the current infrastructure.

• Collaborate with IT and contractors for the development and maintenance of IBAT, DIB, and RISE.

• Identify and implement solutions to enhance responsiveness, decrease lead times, and improve quality.

• Support Lean methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives throughout Product Management.

• Partner with data owners to ensure a single source of truth and maintain data integrity.

• Assist in managing the installed base and ensuring data quality.

• Organize regional engagement sessions and support operational rhythms.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to align system capabilities with business goals.

• Allocate team resources based on priorities and project timelines.

• Design and implement training programs to enhance proficiency in IBAT and DIB.

• Assist with quarterly reporting and ad hoc requests related to the installed base.

• Provide analytics to support strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrated experience in operational leadership roles, such as Senior Engineer, Technical Lead, or similar positions.

• Proven track record of success in leading teams within a large, matrixed organization.

• 7–10 years of experience in Power Generation or a related industry.

• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time, in accordance with company policies.

• Experience in leading both local and remote teams to successfully complete complex projects on schedule.

• Proficient in navigating diverse geographies, cultures, and relationships across organizational lines.

• Experience in transforming processes utilizing Lean techniques.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly with incomplete data.

• Capable of presenting analytical findings and recommendations to all levels of the organization.

• Skilled in setting realistic objectives and managing risks proactively.

• Proficient in building consensus and driving action based on inputs from stakeholders and technical teams.

• Familiarity with enterprise tools such as RISE, IBAT, and DIB.
