This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Guide, motivate, mentor, and cultivate the skills of product managers, product owners, user experience professionals, and business analysts.
• Establish, own, and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmaps that align with the company's goals.
• Oversee product programs throughout the entire lifecycle, from initial concept to post-launch performance management.
• Conduct and advocate for market, competitive, customer, and user research utilizing both qualitative and quantitative data.
• Discover new product opportunities, market expansions, and improvements to existing products.
• Foster innovation within the product portfolio and anticipate evolving customer and market demands.
• Create business cases for products that support revenue growth, market differentiation, and investment choices.
• Collaborate with Engineering and R&D to assess delivery costs, timing, quality, scope, and prioritization trade-offs.
• Work alongside Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Professional Services to develop go-to-market strategies, pricing, positioning, packaging, and product messaging.
• Ensure that customer outcomes, usability, and user experience remain central to product development and evaluation.
• Assist in strategic engagements with customers and prospects, participate in industry forums, conferences, and deliver executive presentations.
• Establish product development practices, operational rhythms, reporting, and performance metrics.
• Encourage transparent communication of product strategy, roadmaps, and development plans among internal and external stakeholders.
• Remain updated on trends in the insurance industry, technological advancements, competitive dynamics, and best practices in product management.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Travel requirement: 0–25%
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience; MBA is preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in leadership positions within web-based product development.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in a Product Manager or similar product leadership position.
• Proven experience in leading and nurturing product management teams.
• Strong knowledge of the insurance industry gained through professional experience, certifications, or both.
• Experience in guiding products from strategy and discovery through development, launch, and continuous optimization.
• Demonstrated capability to construct and convey product roadmaps and business cases effectively.
• Experience collaborating efficiently with Engineering/R&D and cross-functional business leaders.
• Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies and product development tools.
• Ability to leverage customer, market, competitive, and product data to inform decision-making.
• Preferred: CPCU, CBAP, or other relevant certifications in insurance or product management.
• Preferred: Scrum Product Owner or similar Agile certification.
• Preferred: Familiarity with insurance software, policy administration, billing, claims, data, or related platforms.
• Preferred: Knowledge of SQL, database concepts, web services, REST APIs, and enterprise software architectures.
• Preferred: Experience with pricing, packaging, positioning, and commercial launch strategies.
