Digital Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Enhance the agent experience by providing digital products that streamline workflows, minimize friction, and optimize call center operations.

• Support the Agent Experience and Efficiency portfolio.

• Lead a scrum team in defining and delivering scalable, dependable capabilities for agents.

• Collaborate with product leads, business analysts, system teams, stakeholders, and engineers to convert business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Facilitate and support PI Planning and Agile ceremonies.

• Manage the creation, refinement, prioritization, and traceability of the backlog within a SAFe/Agile framework.

• Work with engineering teams on solution development and validate backend functionality.

• Approve completed work against both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Promote cross-team alignment, communication, issue resolution, and engagement.

• Enhance agent productivity and operational results across Aetna service organizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in digital product ownership, product management, or content management supporting call center or operational teams.

• More than 5 years of experience working in Agile/SAFe environments alongside cross-functional partners.

• Capability to transform complex clinical, operational, or technical requirements into user-centric experiences and actionable user stories.

• Experience in facilitating PI Planning and managing dependencies, risks, and priorities across various teams.

• Proficiency in writing clear, technically sound user stories.

• Ability to validate backend functionality through acceptance testing.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.

• High School Diploma/GED plus 4 years of relevant experience as an alternative education pathway.

• Preferred: experience in the health insurance or healthcare industry.

• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile delivery, and tools like Rally, Jira, or similar platforms.

• Product Owner or Product Management certification or formal training, such as PSPO or SAFe PO/PM, is preferred.
