Senior Systems Engineer – Solana

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Manage validator nodes to guarantee the stability, security, and efficiency of Solana's infrastructure and operations.

• Ensure the uninterrupted functioning of Solana systems and carry out necessary updates.

• Monitor systems and optimize performance.

• Actively explore methods to enhance and accelerate the Solana setup.

• Automate the deployment and management of nodes using Ansible and Terraform.

• Work collaboratively with traders to improve infrastructure performance.

• Engage in communication with partners.

• Take part in the on-call duty rotation.

• Pursue opportunities for learning, growth, and development beyond the current position.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of computer systems and networks.

• A strong passion for blockchain technology and decentralization.

• Proficiency in Linux and solid system engineering skills.

• Experience with Solana validator operations is a plus.

• Proficient in English.

• German language skills are advantageous.

• Demonstrated ability to design and critically evaluate system architecture.

• Educational background in Computer Science/Distributed Systems or equivalent professional experience.

• Openness to occasional travel for team meetings and conferences.
