Senior Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain environments for Microsoft 365, Azure, Azure AD (Entra ID), and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

• Administer and enhance Windows Server ecosystems.

• Conduct advanced troubleshooting and resolve performance issues within systems.

• Manage and execute migrations for Microsoft 365, Exchange, file servers, and cloud workloads.

• Implement and oversee enterprise security tools.

• Carry out vulnerability mitigation, system hardening, and optimization of firewall rules.

• Act as a Tier 3–4 escalation point for support tickets.

• Participate in the on-call rotation.

• Develop and maintain thorough documentation and resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Systems Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineering position.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft 365, Azure, Azure AD/Entra ID, Windows Server (2012–2025), Terminal Server/RDS/AVD, Intune and endpoint management, VMware, and/or Hyper-V virtualization.

• Extensive hands-on experience with SonicWall and Sophos firewalls.

• A proven history of managing advanced escalations and solving complex technical challenges.

• Outstanding communication and customer interaction skills.

• Strong discipline in documentation practices.
