Senior AI System Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted AI architect and consultant for our enterprise clients, assisting them in transforming ambitious concepts into solid, production-ready solutions across cloud, edge, and on-premises environments.

• Design and oversee comprehensive LLM and multi-agent architectures, encompassing vector-based RAG pipelines, document-processing workflows, multi-agent orchestration, and autonomous decision frameworks.

• Develop and release libraries that utilize local on-device models.

• Collaborate with our R&D team to create and publish design papers representing the company.

• Construct cloud-native AI infrastructure on AWS or an equivalent platform such as Cloudflare or GCP, ensuring that security, governance, and cost optimization are integral parts of the design.

• Establish and execute AI governance and monitoring measures (including bias detection, drift tracking, and compliance reporting) to maintain the accuracy, explainability, and audit readiness of models.

• Assess, benchmark, and develop custom models, both open-source and commercial.

• Contribute to the open-source community via internal R&D initiatives.

• Keep ahead of the curve by experimenting with the latest advancements in AI.

• Mentor and inspire fellow engineers, sharing knowledge through tech talks, code reviews, and architectural workshops.

⛳️ Requirements

• An experienced AI/ML engineer with a proven history of designing and delivering production AI systems (including LLMs, NLP, computer vision, or multi-modal applications).

• At least 7 years of experience in Software Engineering.

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.

• Proficient in Python and comfortable with TypeScript.

• Knowledgeable in vector search and RAG pipelines, with an understanding of embedding selection, chunking, and retrieval tuning.

• Familiar with designing multi-agent orchestration.

• Knowledge of AI governance, security, and MLOps practices.

• Data-driven mindset; capable of benchmarking, profiling, and optimizing everything from prompt tokens to GPU utilization.

• Open-source oriented; contributions to public GitHub, conference presentations, or engagement in community forums are significant advantages.

• Fluent in English (minimum B2+) and able to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and a team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and uplifting those around them.
