This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Collaborate with sales teams, partners, and internal stakeholders to achieve regional revenue objectives.
• Provide technical presentations and demonstrations that articulate the advantages of solutions and their design principles.
• Conduct discovery sessions, solution design activities, and technical validation for wireless LAN, campus and edge switching, SD-WAN, data center network fabrics, cloud-managed networking platforms, SaaS applications, network access control, and analytics platforms.
• Engage in technical assessments, demonstrations, proof-of-concept deployments, and architectural workshops.
• Diagnose complex customer environments and offer technical insights during escalations.
• Apply protocol expertise and traffic analysis to troubleshoot issues and enhance network designs.
• Utilize basic scripting skills, such as Python or Shell, to assist with automation or testing tasks.
• Act as a liaison between customers and product/engineering teams to relay feedback and ensure alignment of solutions.
• Aid in the sales of enterprise networking solutions throughout the ANZ region.
• 5–10 years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solution architecture, or technical consulting within the networking sector.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Network Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience in enterprise networking settings.
• Extensive knowledge of MLAG, LACP, IGMP, PIM, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, VRRP, SPBM, and VXLAN.
• Understanding of authentication methods and access policies, including 802.1X and RADIUS.
• Practical experience with network simulation, testing tools, and packet capture analysis.
• Familiarity with wired, wireless, SD-WAN, network management platforms, and open networking concepts.
• Comprehension of cloud-managed networking platforms and their integration with security and automation workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Capability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
• A customer-centric mindset paired with robust problem-solving abilities.
• A collaborative spirit when working with internal teams and external partners.
• Networking, wireless, access control, cloud, or AI certifications are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Ansible or Python scripting is a plus.
• Vendor-specific certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
• Flexible working model with regional travel as required.
