Senior Systems Consultant, Business & Operational Resiliency

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, maintain, and test Business Continuity Management (BCM) systems.

• Interpret requirements related to systems, processes, and procedures.

• Manage software privileges and rights in accordance with policy while minimizing unnecessary risks.

• Establish and implement best practices and innovative solutions for system automation and compliance.

• Collaborate with team members and external parties to identify action steps and create processes that support business objectives, compliance, and risk mitigation goals.

• Provide comprehensive documentation, implementation plans, and strategies for system adoption, monitoring, and management reporting.

• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot the BCM tool suite.

• Offer technical and functional support to users of the BCM tool suite.

• Assist the BOR team and enterprise planning community in presenting solutions to stakeholder needs.

• Design and enhance dashboards and reports within the BCM tool suite.

• Create flows in the BCM tool suite to automate business processes and improve data quality.

• Collaborate with the team on daily end-user support.

• Log and track system issues until resolution.

• Carry out upgrades and system maintenance.

• Optimize workflows for plan approvals, annual compliance, testing, and response activities.

• Support other technology-driven initiatives within the customer team.

• Maintain communication with vendors and suppliers of business continuity management tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred experience of five (5) years with Business Continuity Management plan tools, though not mandatory.

• Strong skills in using, administering, configuring, and reporting on BCM tools.

• Understanding of object-oriented concepts and the fundamentals of logic (IFs, ANDs, and ORs).

• Experience in creating custom reports and an analytical mindset regarding measurement needs.

• Familiarity with analyzing and understanding data for dashboards and reports.

• Exceptional critical thinking abilities.

• Strong project management and task organization skills.

• Excellence in providing support to end users.

• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, along with attentive listening abilities.

• Proven capability to work cross-functionally to grasp business requirements and effectively utilize applications.

• Confidence in promoting best practices.

• High levels of resilience and accountability.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in system development and support.

• Previous experience as a system administrator with BCM planning tools is mandatory.

• Familiarity with the operation of insurance or financial services products, services, and systems.
