Senior Systems Analyst, Data Conversion

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive data conversion processes for various large-scale projects.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to evaluate and profile legacy data, document source-to-target mapping requirements, and utilize technical expertise and AI-assisted development to transform and load data onto Bridgeway’s platform.

• Work together with Business Analysts and other Professional Services teams to grasp business requirements, provide data analyses to support software configuration, and accurately map data to fulfill customer expectations.

• Examine, transform, and verify extensive, intricate datasets utilizing advanced SQL techniques.

• Design and implement ETL/ELT processes.

• Create data mapping logic, transformation rules, and validation strategies.

• Detect and address data quality concerns through profiling, cleansing, and root cause analysis.

• Manage various file formats (CSV, Excel, Fixed Width) to facilitate data exchange.

• Organize and carry out cutover activities, including go-live coordination and validation sign-off.

• Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot issues and guarantee precise data delivery.

• Guide junior team members and contribute to refining migration processes and standards.

• Utilize generative AI tools like Claude and Copilot to optimize workflows, boost productivity, enhance solution quality, and expedite the delivery of business outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in data conversion, warehousing, systems analysis, or roles focused on ETL/ELT.

• Demonstrated capability to oversee multiple large-scale conversion projects simultaneously.

• Advanced SQL proficiency—capable of handling complex queries, joins, and performance tuning (SQL Server, ANSI SQL, Python preferred).

• Excellent customer-facing communication skills—able to articulate technical issues without resorting to jargon.

• Familiarity with data dictionaries, source-to-target mapping, and relational database concepts.

• High attention to detail coupled with a problem-solving mindset.

• Experience with AI for data analysis, validation, or development.

• Knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, or similar platforms is a plus.

• Experience with ETL tools like SSIS, Talend, or Informatica is advantageous.

• Familiarity with generative AI tools such as Claude and Copilot to enhance productivity and achieve high-quality results.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
