Senior Systems Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee DNS, WAF, firewall configurations, caching, and rate limiting strategies.

• Enhance proxy setups, security protocols, and performance functionalities (e.g., Argo, Workers).

• Address security threats (DDoS, bots) and perform regular assessments.

• Keep documentation up to date and familiarize yourself with new Cloudflare capabilities.

• Manage and improve OCI or alternative cloud environments (compute, storage, IAM, networking).

• Streamline deployments through the use of Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD workflows.

• Observe and resolve performance issues utilizing Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, and more.

• Conduct system maintenance and apply patches on Linux/Unix systems.

• Diagnose operating system, hardware, and database (MySQL/PostgreSQL) challenges.

• Automate routine processes using Bash, Python, or Ruby scripts.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of practical experience with Cloudflare in a production setting.

• Comprehensive understanding of Cloudflare WAF, DNS, CDN, caching, and Zero Trust.

• Proficient in managing proxies (NGINX, HAProxy) and DDoS mitigation strategies.

• Scripting expertise in Python, Bash, or Ruby.

• Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform) and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus).

• Strong grasp of networking principles: TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, TLS/SSL.

• Cloud proficiency with OCI or its equivalents (AWS, Azure, GCP).
