Senior Systems Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Installs and manages operating systems along with associated software.

• Oversees the operations of the mainframe operating system.

• Evaluates and analyzes user requests concerning server and technical operations.

• Provides support to other departmental teams in IT server management tasks.

• Creates detailed policy and procedure documentation for the open systems server infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

• Alternatively, a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience may be accepted.

• At least five (5) years of direct experience in server support and implementation.

• Experience leading at least one (1) large-scale project.

• Extensive knowledge of shell and kernel-level programming as well as system-specific requirements.
