This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Analyze system, security, and design requirements to pinpoint testable components and establish traceability.
• Outline test scope, determine test cases, and set up testing methodologies.
• Generate thorough testing documentation.
• Identify critical testing areas and allocate resources as needed.
• Conduct system, integration, and end-to-end testing for cybersecurity-oriented systems and services.
• Record test results and maintain evidence of testing.
• Ensure adherence to internal standards and Department of War testing protocols.
• Communicate test results promptly to adhere to project timelines.
• Identify, log, and monitor defects.
• Work in partnership with developers and engineers to replicate issues and confirm fixes.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Active Secret Clearance is mandatory.
• Must currently hold a Secret Clearance and be eligible to obtain one.
• Over 5 years of experience in system testing, software testing, or integration testing within an enterprise or government context.
• More than 5 years of experience in crafting and executing test procedures and scripts.
• Experience in troubleshooting at the system level, encompassing both hardware and software.
• Proficient with JIRA, Azure DevOps, and TestRail.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret technical requirements, architectural diagrams, and security documentation.
• Strong grasp of system, integration, and functional testing methodologies.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional engineering setting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly document test results and findings.
• Experience with Department of War acceptance testing criteria for complex systems is preferred.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles such as least privilege, continuous authentication, and micro-segmentation is a plus.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% (also noted as 10–25%).
