Senior System Analyst – Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Analyze business scenarios and product requirements.

• Communicate with international partners and customers.

• Design new features and develop functional specifications.

• Assess backward compatibility of product modifications and align requirements with stakeholders.

• Oversee the end-to-end implementation of features.

• Decompose requirements into development tasks and coordinate implementation specifics.

• Collaborate with external vendors, including payment processors and service providers.

• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and technical writers.

• Validate features against specifications and conduct acceptance testing.

• Create test plans and scenarios, including edge cases like data migration, invalid data, and high load conditions.

• Assist with maintenance activities, including managing support requests and verifying bug fixes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in system analysis and crafting functional specifications.

• More than 3 years of experience in payment processing and third-party integrations.

• Proficient experience in writing functional documentation in English.

• Experience collaborating closely with developers and business users.

• Familiarity with acceptance testing and developing test scenarios.

• Strong analytical skills and adept problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to organize and convey complex information effectively.

• Excellent prioritization abilities and a results-driven mindset.

• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.

• Fluent in English.

• Preferred: experience in project management.

• Preferred: experience with ERP system implementation or support.
