Senior System Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take charge of critical issues and operate independently

• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and remote administration environments

• Execute server hardening, security scripting, and complex troubleshooting

• Oversee and resolve issues in VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, Azure IaaS, and vCloud environments

• Address vulnerabilities and ensure environments comply with corporate standards and regulations

• Handle infrastructure risk management

• Operate physical servers, storage solutions, corporate networks, data centers, and hybrid environments

• Administer Citrix, Microsoft RDS, Windows Cloud PC, and VMware Horizon configurations

• Manage corporate backup, cloud replication, disaster recovery, and recovery operations

• Create operational automation scripts and streamline recurring tasks

• Standardize operational workflows

• Administer Linux servers within corporate settings

• Generate technical documentation

• Participate in infrastructure migration, consolidation, and transformation initiatives

• Support system migrations, environments related to mergers and acquisitions, and legacy ERP archiving

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Systems Administration

• Background in medium to large enterprise environments

• Capacity to work independently and take ownership of significant issues

• Proficient English communication skills

• Analytical mindset for Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

• Experience with technical documentation

• Involvement in infrastructure migration, consolidation, or transformation projects

• Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), remote administration, server hardening, security scripting, and advanced troubleshooting

• Proficient in VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, Azure IaaS, and vCloud

• Knowledge of vulnerability remediation, corporate standards, hardening, compliance, and infrastructure risk management

• Experience with physical servers, storage, corporate networks, data centers, and hybrid environments

• Proficient in Citrix, Microsoft RDS, Windows Cloud PC, and VMware Horizon

• Experience with Veeam, Wasabi, cloud replication, disaster recovery, and corporate backup; Veeam strongly preferred

• Advanced skills in PowerShell and operational automation scripting

• Linux administration and basic to intermediate troubleshooting abilities

• Nice-to-haves: IT Security, Windows Active Directory, virtualization, corporate infrastructure, mergers & acquisitions (M&A) environments, system migrations, and legacy ERP archiving
