This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver comprehensive L2 technical support for a distinguished client.
• Sustain enterprise infrastructure across both Windows and Linux environments.
• Oversee server infrastructure and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Offer advanced desktop and infrastructure assistance.
• Administer Windows Server, including managing Active Directory.
• Execute Linux system administration, shell scripting, and system upkeep.
• Diagnose and maintain server hardware.
• Troubleshoot network issues, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
• Support VMware vSphere and Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
• Conduct backup and recovery operations.
• Manage patches and ensure security compliance.
• Monitor system performance and optimize systems accordingly.
• Resolve and escalate ITSM tickets as necessary.
• Provide workstation software break-fix support for both Windows and Linux clients.
• Carry out IMAC operations within enterprise environments.
• Image and deploy systems using automated tools.
• Oversee asset lifecycle and maintain inventory control.
• Support enterprise printers and peripheral devices.
• Deliver technical support at the Client Center (Tech Bar).
• Diagnose and replace hardware as needed.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and manage cabling effectively.
• Maintain system documentation and uphold security protocols.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in system administration or L2 technical support.
• Practical experience with Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with Linux system administration and command-line operations.
• Experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of network troubleshooting and TCP/IP fundamentals.
• Proficiency with IT ticketing systems and ITSM processes.
• Understanding of enterprise backup and recovery protocols.
• Familiarity with change management and incident management frameworks.
• Strong documentation abilities and technical communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to government contract stipulations.
• Preferred qualifications include: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification.
• Preferred: Microsoft certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or Azure fundamentals.
• Preferred: Linux certifications like CompTIA Linux+ or RHCSA.
• Preferred: Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and Bash scripting.
• Preferred: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud environments.
• Preferred: ITIL Foundation certification.
• Preferred: Experience with monitoring tools.
• Preferred: Knowledge of Ansible, Puppet, or Chef configuration management tools.
• Preferred: Expertise in enterprise inventory control systems.
• Preferred: Experience with RingCentral CX/EX administration.
